| This is a question sent in by Steven on the “Ask Aaron Anything” link: Who would be the best presenditial pick being a Christian?
My Response: This is a hard question because I never get real political. I probably should! I have opinions and I have thoughts, but this is what I am going to do on this one… I am going to turn it over to all of you to answer this question and then I will put my thoughts latter. So what do you think? |

I was actually wondering this question myself, I’m glad to see it posted. My concern is that I don’t think either candidates are moral at all, but I don’t want to not vote. Not voting is forfeiting your right to affect your country as an American.
I’m curious as to what the Bible says about leadership for a country, if anything, because most the time, didn’t God himself appoint his leaders?

I am socially conservative because conservative values reflect christian values, conservative view points are the view points of the Republican party, because the foundation of the republican party is conservative values and the foundation of conservative values is christian values i lean toward the republican party, aka John McCain.
October 5th, 2008 at 3:57 pm
I call myself a republican as well. But call myself so because I agree with their viewpoints on how society should be compared to the democratic view. However, my personal belief is I don’t vote for a president based off of party, I evaluate each man as his own.
That said, I think I have actually come to a conclusion to vote for a 3rd party, as to not support either of these men. I don’t think either of them are going to make a good president, but there’s no way I’m not voting. Its forfeiting one of the few rights we have left to make a difference as citizens.
The way I see it, by voting for a 3rd party, I’m still having a say, i’m protesting my disdain with the fact I can’t even bring myself to vote for either of our 1 of our 2 presidential candidates that will actually end up winning. And it doesn’t matter what the morals or beliefs of the 3rd party are, since they’re not going to actually get elected as we all know, I’m not technically supporting them.
That’s my take.

I often have political discussions (debates) with people at work, friends, and yes people at church. Somewhere in the conversations I will mention that I vote one issue and that is I vote for the candidate that is most against the murder of the unborn in their mother’s womb. I will add “until we get this one issue straightened out this nation will continue it’s decline”. Usually the person I’m talking to will go noticeably silent and most of the time the conversation will end. You see even the most harden hearts knows deep in their inter most heart this slaughter of the unborn is wrong. Weather they believe in God or not. The Northern Kingdoms of Israel were sacrificing their young to pagan gods in the old testament and God scattered them for 2000 years. Why should God be any different to us. Maybe because we are a Christian nation and we should be under grace? God forbid!
The crossroads we are facing is actually in the Supreme Court which, for some strange reason against the Constitution of the United States, we have given them authority of a King or Dictator. Instead of just the Supreme Court being used to help interpret the law “We The People” have allowed them to make the laws with no way to keep them in check. That was not our Forefathers original intent. The next President will be appointing two or maybe three Supreme Court justices. I hope it’s not to late for this great nation to repent and start the pendulum swinging the other way.
John McCain and Sara Palin Have the best chance of saving our children and with God’s grace and fogivness our country’s future

Watching the news now a days can really get my blood boiling. And sometimes I just sit and feel helpless. But then I am reminded that Prayer changes everything.
The thing that concerns me the most is that people will vote for one JUST to NOT be voting for the other.I spoke to a young lady yesterday who is 18. She said she had already voted , she voted Obama which did not go well with her Catholic family. She stated they are so staunch about Rep. b/c of the abortion factor. To her she didn’t really care. She doesn’t agree with abortion but thinks women should have a choice. I pointed out to her that should there be no contestation of the abortion issue. There would be government programs to pay for them next. I asked her… would you want your tax dollars to pay for killing an unborn child? She sat dazed …”no”. Before Roe-v-Wade women still got abortions. We always have a choice whether we make the right ones or not.
I told her some other things about McCain from the 2000 primaries, that she did not know b/c she was too young to vote so she didn’t pay attention to. Afterwards she said ‘wow, if I had have known that I would have voted differently.’
People we seriously need to pray that Christians will head to God’s calling for us to PRAY for whom to vote for. And when he shows us let’s not be timid. HE knows which candidate will be most sensitive to Him in leading our nation.
We have seen in the last 30+years what happens when Christians don’t pray and stand up for God’s principles and standards. Let’s not forget that HE set forth government and how society works.
A different man in an office will not change this country!!!!!!!!!!! There is only ONE who can turn our country around!
Let us remeber;
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways THEN will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and HEAL THEIR LAND”
There is so much more I have to say regarding this issue but I would rather leave it to God’s Word b/c that is what stands true!

It does not matter who will be president for Christians. The reality is we have more authority than anyone else on this earth because we have been given the Holy Spirit and the ability to bring people to the true change that they need in their lives. Christianity is once again under attack by the enemy and has once again been brought into a political arena where those who are not rooted in the word can make a so called stand. It angers me when ignorant people attempt to have a discussion and try and make since. Not that anyone is ignorant here but I have heard so much talk around me about these two candidates it is making my head ache. The crazy thing is that even if Jesus himself were running for office, someone would still disagree with “the issues”. Senator McCain is experienced, no doubt and can serve this country with a perspective that no other candidate in the race has. On the other hand, Senator Obama simply has the” audacity” to hope for change. I like when the abortion issue comes up because either you are for killing babies or not. Crude but that’s what it “politically” boils down to. But who, of these candidates is taking a stand for abstinence….do you know? What we see as the issues must be investigated. Are we even aware at how many threats either of these candidates have received because of their stands? If there is anyone that has been under global and national attack it is not Senator McCain. We must remember that the enemy is working overtime on this one and is reaching back to bring in separation, racism, hatred and confusion. Looking at this country and the state that it is in, keeping in mind that America is a business FIRST and then a country, who is going to be the best global manager. The dollar is hurting, foreign countries may be buying up the busted mortgages and jobs are being outsourced all the time. Who is going to be the best leader to keep the international lines open for Christians to spread the Word of God to each corner of the earth? There is so much to consider. It is interesting to me that when Jesus walked the earth he didn’t really bother with politics much but did instruct us to obey our leaders and be Christ minded. Are we?
October 31st, 2008 at 6:13 am
I see a remarkable likeness here in our country when it comes to politics. Talking about when Jesus walked the earth… He had the saducees and the pharisees… notice a likeness?
It is time we get back to basics. America needs to get back to the basics of the foundation of this nation. Make no mistake that our founding fathers were no fools and have through out historical documents recited and leaned heavily on the Gods Word!
The economic issues of today reminds me of when Jesus said ‘render unto Ceasar what is Ceasar’s (our fortune is that we have a say in who our Cesar is)and unto God what it God.Shouldn’t we be more concerned with rendering ourselves and our country back to God? The government could come and take our money and spread it around. People will and have in the past voted with only their wallet in mind. We cannot serve God and money at the same time.I think God has been sending messages for some years now that America had better make a decision of whom they will serve.
I agree… who is standing for abstenance? A foreign and mocked word indeed these days! But you see this makes no sense in a world where God’s Word has been smeared with a greasy grace that has been preached for so long now by preachers to tickle the ears of the people for the sake of not losing a person or their money. (uh-oh there’s money again)Could it actually be that the Bible may have been right when He states that the LOVE of money is the root of all evil? [But I digress]
We have been afforded a great thing in this country. To be able to choose our leaders. The ones we deem a good representation of our values and morals. To represent the PEOPLE. By the People…. for the People.

I think it is the greatest mistake in the history of this country to elect an anti Israeli liberal president at this point in time in history. Barack Obama will try to split up Israel and try to give away jerusalem to the muslims, but this will not happen, America will be punished severaly not for electing this man, but for not obeying Gods word which says not to split up Israel, not to make peace with her enemies! America will betray Israel in the coming war, and America will not support Israel, so God will not support the futile existence of this arrogant country anymore. Thats all i got to say about that, im out.

Friends in Christ,
Are you sensing that there is something different about this presidential election? I was telling someone just recently that it seems like this election is far more serious than those in the recent past. Something in my spirit is very uneasy. In the past I have felt the need to pray for different elections, but I have never felt so strongly the urge to pray, and pray fervently, for an election as I do for this one. I truly believe that if the wrong person (Obama) is elected, this nation will be changed forever. We may not be able to undo the things that will be unleashed during an Obama presidency. My concern about an Obama presidency is not based on politics; it is based on righteousness.
Look at any of the major moral issues (abortion, homosexuality etc.) and you will find Obama on the wrong side of the issue, and Palin and McCain on the right side of the issue. What makes this so disturbing is that the Obama team has raised far more money than McCain/Palin, and the media is unabashedly supporting Obama with every story and headline they write. Currently McCain/Palin are behind in the polls and having a very difficult time. Some in the media have suggested that the race is over and there is little or nothing McCain can do to change the outcome. Oh how wrong they are.
Let me briefly share a story I recently read in 2 Samuel Chapter 5. David had just become king of Israel, and the Philistines went up to wage war against him. So David inquired of the Lord and said, “Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you hand them over to me?” The LORD said, “Yes, I will surely hand them over to you.” So David went and defeated them. He said, “As waters break out, the LORD has broken out against my enemies before me.” After suffering a great loss in the first battle, the Philistines must have thought they now knew David’s defense strategy, and they would be ready for him the next time, because once more the Philistines came up to attack David. So once again David inquired of the LORD, but this time the Lord gave different instructions. He said to David, “Do not go straight up, but circle around behind them and attack them in front of the balsam trees. As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, move quickly, because that will mean the LORD has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army.” David obeyed the Lord and was victorious.
This story holds a very important lesson for us at this time. In most presidential elections, a frontal assault, a face-to-face battle, is what is needed. But this is no ordinary election. McCain is trying all the normal tactics, but he is not prevailing. It seems no matter what he says or does, it is not effective. I am convinced this election CANNOT be won using normal methods. Just as the Lord told David to go around behind the enemy and attack him there, so we must go around the face of this election and wage war where the battle is truly raging, in the spiritual realm. The fact that the normal physical methods are not effective this time should tell us that this is a very important spiritual battle, and we can only win by using spiritual methods - prayer.
What about the sound of marching in the treetops? What is that? I have read on the internet several accounts of fellow Christians being stirred up in their spirits to pray. Many have been drawn into times of deep prayer and weeping as they intercede for Palin and McCain. Some have awakened in the middle of the night and sensed a great need to pray; others have told of how when they heard about Sarah Palin being chosen as VP, something came over them, and they wept, and felt a need to pray for her and McCain. Many others are feeling the calling and urging of the Spirit to enter into a time of fervent prayer and fasting for Palin and McCain and our nation.
What is this unusual stirring that is occurring? I believe it is the sound of the Lord marching in the trees, calling his children to act quickly to pray and fast for Palin and McCain. Think about this, what would the marching have sounded like to David? It may have sounded like the rustling of leaves as when wind blows through them, but this time something was different and out of the ordinary. Maybe it was like the sound of the great wind when the Spirit moved on the day of Pentecost. Also, God’s people are referred to as Trees of Righteousness in Isaiah 61. So the sound of the Lord marching in the treetops in David’s time is a portrait of the Spirit of the Lord moving among and stirring up his children today.
So what are we to do when we sense this stirring of the Spirit? Two things; first, we are to take it as the sign that the Lord is moving out in front of us. Anytime the Lord calls us to do something, He goes ahead of us to prepare the way and fight for us. When Joshua returned from spying out Jericho, the Lord gave him insight to see that the Lord had removed Jericho’s protection so Israel could defeat them. When the Lord calls us into battle, He goes ahead of us, removes the enemy’s protection, and fights for us to give us the victory. Secondly, the Lord tells us when we sense the stirring of the Spirit we are to act quickly and join Him in the battle (through prayer, fasting, praise and obedience).
This election is by no means lost. For God would not be stirring up his children all across this nation and, indeed, around the world, to pray, if He did not want to give us the victory in this election. And He wants us to join Him in the battle. God will hear the cries of His children if we will only cry out to Him with fervent, earnest prayers for this election and this nation. If those who are being drawn to prayer by the Spirit will indeed enter into a time of prayer and seeking His face, then God will have mercy on America and spare us from having an ungodly leader. I’m sure of it.
One more thought, after the last debate, so-called “conservative” David Brooks gushed about Obama, “I thought Obama had the night he needed to have. You know, through this whole 20 month marathon, I think what struck me is how incredibly even he is. And how frankly reassuring he is. It is like you’re camping, and you wake up one morning, and there is a mountain. And then the next morning, there is a mountain, and there’s the next morning, there’s a mountain. Obama is just the mountain. He is just there. He is always the same; he doesn’t hurt himself. McCain can sometimes lob a cannonball at the mountain, but the mountain doesn’t move, and the mountain doesn’t care. And so I think his steadiness, his temperament has been the dramatic theme of this campaign, dramatic in being undramatic. And it was on display tonight. And the good part of the mountain is that he is reassuring and reliable.”
I’m really glad he used the word “mountain” to describe Obama. It caused me to remember what Jesus said about unmovable mountains. Jesus said, I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.
And it only takes a little faith.
This election can only be won by going around the face of the election and attacking the enemy where he is vulnerable, through prayer, fasting and praise. If you hear the sound of the Lord marching in the tree tops, if you feel the stirring of the Spirit calling you to pray, then move quickly into a time of prayer, for God is moving ahead of you at that time to give us the victory. May God give us ears to hear the marching.
Together with you in the battle,

Many of the forefathers of our country had a twisted perception of God the Father. Let’s face it, this country was formulated from a group of radicals that may have not fully lived Christian lives. Only the English were considered worthy Americans at the onset and all other denomination of race where secondary. The Bible says, “For there is no respect of persons with God.For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law. For it is not the hearers of the law who are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.” I can see why Jesus avoided politics because the truth is coarse. There is no gray area and what politics does is ride the gray area until the cows come home. Both parties have taken a stand agaist same sex marriages. But it seems that only one party leaves room for redemption with even this issue. The truth is we as Christians need to stop crying about what the government is doing and make the move to take over our homes, neighborhoods, workplaces and churches with a fervance that has never been seen. Once either one of these men are elected the pressure will be put on them to do what their constituents say. We must be watchful, prayerful and most of all not afraid to stand for what is right within our own reach. “so practice and observe whatever they tell you—but not what they do.For they preach, but do not practice.”

“Before Roe-v-Wade women still got abortions. We always have a choice whether we make the right ones or not.” -Tammy
Haha, SO true, there’s always a way around the rules (usually an easy one too) even before this BS.
Here’s my big problem with abortion. Its a woman (and man together) being IRRESPONSIBLE enough to disregard her body and not resist her fleshly desires in the FIRST PLACE, and THEN, she has the audacity to say ” i should be RESPONSIBLE to make a decision with my own body” lol, I mean lets think about this, you were irresponsible as HELL in the first place to get here, and now to FURTHER prove you’re STILL irresponsible, you don’t even realize its not your body anymore! there’s another human being inside of you.
And then there’s the infamous “well what if a woman gets raped?” Plain and simple. All of our hearts cry out to you, and its a horrible and tragic event, we all agree. I mean that’s so horrible that even if you don’t have any family left in this world, there are hundreds of people in any city willing to help you any way possible through an event like this. HOWEVER, just because you experienced a horrible event as a result of sin in our world, do you now feel the right to MURDER and committ one of the worse sins, yourself? I sure as hell hope not. Man,…or ha, Woman up, lol, Have the baby and give it to an orphanage, that’s the RIGHT thing to do. I don’t know if anyone is aware of how hard it is to adopt a newborn baby and there are many people who would LOVE this opporunity and care for that child as if it were their own. A friend of mine had a teacher who waited SEVEN YEARS to adopt a newborn child. Yet people murder newborn children everyday. Its absolutely disgusting.
Oh, BTW, anyone who supports abortion or thinks Obama’s views on it are ok, or he at all is ok, Do yourself a HUGE favor, and go to a bookstore, find a book called “The Case Against Barack Obama” and read the chapter on abortion. I’m a slow reader and it only took me about 20 min. partial birth abortion should have jail time consequences, it is absolutely disgusting, i’d love to find the sick low lifes who perform the murder for money.

oh, and the whole “As long as its not threatening to the mother’s health” statement is HILARIOUS. Ask any physician what they think about that. The likely response would be a laugh with “all pregnancies are a serious threat to a mother’s health” Its the nature of the beast. Think about it. That’s one of the dumber arguements i’ve heard.

And to anonymous. You’re probably correct that our forefathers weren’t truly 100% christian as they should’ve been. But they were amazing enough men to write a document that near 200 years later, to this day, it is still considered the best guide to how a country should be, in the free world. America is far from perfect, but man do I love our country, love being American, and wouldn’t rather be in any other country in the world. We have it best in the world. So well, that we as Christians are ALLOWED and ENCOURAGED to bring whatever we want to the table to be considered lawful or not. We can GAIN rights as Christians if we try hard enough. No others country in the world works like that.

I am going to post something on monday and make a couple comments about voting. But you all are having a good line of discussion. Thanks all for the good comments.

This is an amazing letter I received this morning in my email….
—————————-
To Barack Hussein Obama,
The New York Times carried a story on Saturday, October 4, 2008 that proved you had a significantly closer relationship with Bill Ayers than what you previously admitted. While the issue of your relationship is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America about it.
The Chicago Sun reported on May 8, 2008 that FBI records showed that you had a significantly closer relationship with Tony Rezko than what you previously admitted. In the interview, you said that you only saw Mr. Rezko a couple of times a year. The FBI files showed that you saw him weekly. While the issue of your relationship is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America about it.
Your speech in Philadelphia on March 18, 2008 about ‘race’ contradicted your statement to Anderson Cooper on March 14 when you said that you never heard Reverend Wright make his negative statements about white America. While your attendance at Trinity Church for 20 years is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America on March 14.
In your 1st debate with John McCain, you said that you never said that you would meet with the leaders of Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea without ‘preparations’ at lower levels … Joe Biden repeated your words in his debate with Sarah Palin … while the video tape from your debate last February clearly shows that you answered ‘I would’ to the question of meeting with those leaders within 12 months without ‘any’ preconditions. While your judgment about meeting with enemies of the USA without pre-conditions is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America in the debate with McCain.
On July 14, 2008, you said that you always knew that the surge would work while the video tapes of you from more than a year ago show that you stated that the surge would not work. While your judgment about military strategy as a potential commander in chief is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America on July 14. You now claim that your reason for voting against funding for the troops was because the bill did not include a time line for withdrawal while the video tapes of you from more than a year ago show that you voted against additional funding because you wanted our troops to be removed immediately … not in 16 months after the 2008 election as you now claim. While your judgment about removing our troops unilaterally in 2007 is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America about your previous position.
You claim to have a record of working with Republicans while the record shows that the only bill that you sponsored with a Republican was with Chuck Lugar … and it failed. The record shows that you vote 97% in concert with the Democrat party and that you have the most liberal voting record in the Senate. You joined Republicans only 13% of the time in your votes and those 13% were only after agreement from the Democrat Party. While it is of concern that you fail to include conservatives in your actions and that you are such a liberal, the greater concern is that you distorted the truth. In the primary debates of last February, 2008, you claimed to have talked with a ‘Captain’ of a platoon in Afghanistan ‘the other day’ when in fact you had a discussion in 2003 with a Lieutenant who had just been deployed to Afghanistan. You lied in that debate.
In your debates last spring, you claimed to have been a ‘professor of Constitutional law’ when in fact you have never been a professor of Constitutional law. In this last debate, you were careful to say that you ‘taught a law class’ and never mentioned being a ‘professor of Constitutional law.’ You lied last spring. You and Joe Biden both claimed that John McCain voted against additional funding for our troops when the actual records show the opposite. You distorted the truth.
You and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted against funding for alternate energy sources 20 times when the record shows that John McCain specifically voted against funding for bio fuels, especially corn …and he was right …corn is too expensive at producing ethanol, and using corn to make ethanol increased the price of corn from $2 a bushel to $6 a bushel for food. You distorted the truth.
You and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted like both of you for a tax increase on those making as little as $42,000 per year while the voting record clearly shows that John McCain did not vote as you and Joe Biden. You lied to America.
You and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted with George W. Bush 90% of the time when you know that Democrats also vote 90% of the time with the President (including Joe Biden) because the vast majority of the votes are procedural. You are one of the few who has not voted 90% of the time with the President because you have been missing from the Senate since the day you got elected. While your absence from your job in the Senate is of concern, the greater concern is that you spin the facts.
You did not take an active roll in the rescue plan. You claimed that the Senate did not need you while the real reason that you abstained was because of your close relationships with the executives of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Countrywide, and Acorn … who all helped cause the financial problems of today … and they all made major contributions to your campaign. While
your relationship with these executives and your protection of them for your brief 3 years in the Senate (along with Barney Frank, Chuch Schumer, Maxine Waters, and Chris Dodd) is of concern, the greater concern is that you are being deceitful.
You forgot to mention that you personally represented Tony Rezko and Acorn. Tony Rezko, an Arab and close friend to you, was convicted of fraud in Chicago real estate transactions that bilked millions of tax dollars from the Illinois government for renovation projects that you sponsored as a state senator … and Acorn has been convicted of voter fraud, real estate sub prime loan intimidation, and illegal campaign contributions. Tony Rezko has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to your political campaigns. You personally used your political positions to steer money to both Tony Rezko and Acorn and you used Acorn to register thousands of phony voters for Democrats and you. While your relationships with Rezko and Acorn
are of concern, the greater concern is that you omitted important facts about your relationships with them to America.
During your campaign, you said: ‘typical white person’, ‘they cling to their guns and religion’, ‘they will say that I am black’. You played the race card. You tried to label any criticism about you as racist. You divide America. You claim that you will reduce taxes for 95% of America, but you forgot to tell America that those reductions are after you remove the Bush
tax reductions. You have requested close to $1 Billion in earmarks and several million for Acorn. Your social programs will cost America $1 Trillion per year and you claim that a reduction in military spending ($100 billion for Iraq) can pay for it. While your economic plan of adding 30% to the size of our federal government is of concern, the greater concern is
that you are deceiving America.
The drain to America’s economy by foreign supplied oil is $700 Billion per year (5% of GDP) while the war in Iraq is $100 Billion (less than 1% of GDP). You voted against any increases to oil exploration for the last 3 years and any expansion of nuclear facilities. Yet today, you say that you have always been for more oil and more nuclear. You are lying to America.
Mr. Obama, you claimed that you ‘changed’ your mind about public financing for your campaign because of the money spent by Republican PACs in 2004. The truth is that the Democrat PACs in 2004, 2006, and 2008 spent twice as much as the Republican PACs (especially George Soros and MoveOn.org). You are lying to America.
Mr. Obama, you have done nothing to stop the actions of the teachers union and college professors in the USA. They eliminated religion from our history. They teach pro gay agendas and discuss sex with students as young as first grade. They bring their personal politics into the classrooms. They disparage conservatives. They brainwash our children. They are in it
for themselves …. not America. Are you reluctant to condemn their actions because teachers/professors and the NEA contribute 25% of all money donated to Democrats and none to Republicans? You are deceiving America.
Oh Mr. Obama, Teddy Roosevelt said about a hundred years ago that we Americans should first look at the character of our leaders before anything else. Your character looks horrible. While you make good speeches, motivating speeches, your character does not match your rhetoric. You talk the talk but do not walk the walk.
1. You lied to America. You lied many times. You distorted facts. You parsed your answers like a lawyer.
2. You distorted the record of John McCain in your words and in your advertisements.
3. You had associations with some very bad people for your personal political gains and then lied about those associations.
4. You divide America about race and about class.
Now let me compare your record of lies, distortions, race bating, and associations to John McCain: War hero. Annapolis graduate with ‘Country First’. Operational leadership experience like all 43 previously elected presidents of the USA as a Navy Officer for 22 years. 26 years in the Senate. Straight talk. Maverick. 54% of the time participated on bills with Democrats. NEVER ASKING FOR AN EARMARK. The only blemish on his record is his part in the Keating 5 debacle about 25 years ago.
Mr. Obama, at Harvard Law School, you learned that the end does not justify the means. You learned that perjury, false witness, dishonesty, distortion of truth is never tolerated. Yet, your dishonesty is overwhelming. Your dishonesty is tremendously greater than the dishonesty that caused the impeachment and disbarment of Bill Clinton. Your dishonesty is tremendously greater than the dishonesty of Scooter Libby. You should be ashamed.
Mr. Obama, it is time for us Americans to put aside our differences on political issues and vote against you because of your dishonest character.
It is time for all of us Americans to put aside our political issues and vote for America first. It is time for America to vote for honesty.
Any people who vote for you after understanding that you are dishonest should be ashamed of themselves for making their personal political issues more important than character. Would these same people hire someone for a job if that someone lied in an interview? …. of course not. So why do some of these people justify their votes for you even though they know you
are dishonest? Why do they excuse your dishonesty? Because some of these people are frightened about the future, the economy, and their financial security … and you are praying on their fears with empty promises … and because some (especially our young people) are consumed by your wonderful style and promises for ‘change’ like the Germans who voted for Adolf Hitler in 1932. The greed/envy by Germans in 1932 kept them from recognizing Hitler for who he was. They loved his style. Greed and envy are keeping many Americans from recognizing you … your style has camouflaged your dishonesty …. but many of us see you for who you really are … and we will not stop exposing who you are every day, forever if it is necessary.
Mr. Obama, you are dishonest. Anyone who votes for you is enabling dishonesty.
Mr. Obama, America cannot trust that you will put America first in your decisions about the future.
Mr. Obama, you are not the ‘change’ that America deserves. We cannot trust you.
Mr. Obama, You are not ready and not fit to be commander in chief.
Mr. Obama, John McCain does not have as much money as your campaign to refute all of your false statements. And for whatever reasons, the mainstream media will not give adequate coverage or research about your lies, distortions, word parsing, bad associations, race bating, and lack of operational leadership experience, and general dishonest character. The
Media is diverting our attention to your relationships and ignoring the fact that you lied about those relationships. The fact that you lied is much more important than the relationships themselves …. just like with Bill Clinton and Richard Nixon … Monica Lewinski and Watergate were not nearly as bad as the fact that those gentlemen lied about the events … false witness … perjury … your relationships and bad judgments are bad on their own …. but your lies are even worse.
Therefore, by copy of this memo, all who read this memo are asked to send it to everyone else in America before it is too late. We need to do the job that the media will not do. We need to expose your dishonesty so that every person in America understands who you really are before Election Day.
Mr. Obama, in a democracy, we get what we deserve. And God help America if we deserve you.

Yes Drew! My husband and I have been cyber-campaining…LOL…
I have posted this letter on myspace, facebook and we have emailed it to many.
We are to submit to our leaders and follow the law of the land, yes. But we have the fortunate oprotunity to decide who those leaders are.
Remeber that Isreal had a king b/c the PEOPLE asked God for a King.
This country was founded on being free from the government controling their religion. Yet these days it seems every religion is getting freedom EXCEPT the Judeua-Christian faith which is constantly being eroded away ……..
We can change that as Christians if we humble ourselves to GOD and pray, then rise up and stand for GODs TRUTH. Then we can take back our homes, neighborhoods, cities, yes even our country and be what we as a country once were.
Sure our not all of the founders were Christian but the vast majority of them were and the ones who were not still had much stonger values than that of our law makers today. There is redemtion! Praise God for the redeeming power of Jesus! But where is the need for redemption is there is standard being raised.
“When the enemy comes in like a flood the Lord will raise up a standard.”
America get up and bless God….
with obedience!

Tentions are flaring and people are nervous. Are you prepared to have a man for a president? Are you prepared to have a woman for a president? Are you prepared to have a black man for president? I often wonder if these candidates where John McCain and Scott Jenkins if some of the fear and negativity would dwindle. I am afraid for the African American culture because of Senator Obama wins…and all figures do point in that direction…will they experience support from all of those who are clearly afraid that he will win now? Why is a change in leadership so fearful? What’s ina name you ask…..how about adjectives like noble, handsome….hhhmm you should check it out. Also, abortion is wrong and is a grave issue….but its not the only one. I am afraid to have an angry man leading this country into such difficult times to only upset other countries. Being a narrow minded Maverick reminds me of the historical Crusaders.

THE LORD IS SPEAKING
The Lord is speaking loud and clearly to those who have ears to hear. He woke me this morning November 6, 2008 to write down the following:
“I have produced the fruit from the seed that was planted 40 years ago by the United States. What seed you ask? The seed was the death of Martin Luther King, whom this country murdered.
Martyrdom always gets my attention and produces a future harvest in the land of the act. Barack Obama is that fruit and America is that land. There have been countless tragic murders in the United States including those of the Kennedy’s, but they were not martyrs in my eyes.
There are voices who have promoted fear and “end time” judgments in My Name if this man were elected. Where were those voices 40 years ago warning of the consequences of the killing of My prophets?
Are the prophets today hearing My voice or the voices of their preconceived ideas of the future? I detest religion and theology for they are no better than burnt offerings and sacrifices.
I am the God of the living and will not be bound by tradition and religion, which is wrapped in grave clothes and hate.
Awake America and taste the fruit that you have born and see that I am able to make what was sown in hate and unforgiveness sweet and redeeming. Did I not make a covenant with this country? Am I a man that I should lie or break My vow?
Will I be unjust because you are weak and blind? Are your thoughts so fleeting that you are unable to remember my goodness and blessing over this land and its people? Alas, the leaders of My Church are reminiscent of those who died in the wilderness even after witnessing My greatest deliverances and miracles.
Allow these words to penetrate your spirits and listen to the voice of My living words. I will use this man, Obama and this country again for My purposes and desires. Those who have promoted fear and division I will remove from the midst of you. Those who pretend to understand My future and ways will loose their influence to those who hunger for righteousness and sow in tears.
I have finished the book, but you have not finished your training. This is your greatest hour America, look up and know that your future is not in leaving this planet, but in establishing My kingdom.
Let the true prophets begin to prophesy over this man and this country so that I may visit him, even now, and show him My end from the beginning. If you will purpose to do this you will see America arise from the grave and become a jewel in the crown of My kingdom.
If you do not, you will be judged with the wicked and loose a future generation to the fables and wives tales you have promoted as My revelations.
Wake up and see the future I have prepared for those who Know Me and My ways. I believe in you and have created you with the abilities to hear My voice and understand My love.
Will you be the ones I can count on or must I wait for another generation? The choice is yours as it was from the beginning.”
Prophet Emerson Ferrell.
