Can a Christian woman marry a Muslim man?

This is a question sent in by anonymous on the “Ask Aaron Anything” link:

Can a Christian woman marry a Muslim man?

MY ANSWER:

Can you? Yes

Does scripture permit it? NO

Marrying someone who does not believe in Jesus is not only unwise but it is expressly forbidden in scripture and leads to idolatry.  When you link your self to someone who worships other gods you will eventually have to make room for acceptance of that god.  I have answered this question a few times on this page so I will not continue…

All I can say is trust Jesus and obey His word!!! Do not yoke yourself with an unbeliever.

Excuse me – who said that Muslim doesn't believe in Jesus (Peace be with Him) as Prophet? and Jews, Christians & Muslims have the same GOD – there is no different GOD – they all worship the same GOD!

Clear your concepts first about your own religion before commenting about others.

Christians don't believe in Jesus as just a prophet. They believe Jesus is God incarnate, the word become flesh. We don't worship the same God because we Christians worship the triune 3in1 God. If you don't worship Jesus as God, then you don't worship the same God we do. But I pray you would.
