Ok PA. Thanks for calling me out. LOL. Your appointment is today! just a friendly reminder.
So, anyways, Sunday was fantastic all around. Enduring in suffering, wow, mind blowing to know that even though we go through these times, it truly is but a little while. Looking back at my times of sufferings, I can't even imagine what it would have looked like running to anything other that Jesus. Jesus is the solid rock, our chief cornerstone, and everything is to bring glory to His name.

1 Peter 4:12-14 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.
I love how peter is so straight forward and encouraging all at the same time. I hope this makes sense, sometimes it's hard to articulate, in words, the greatness of our LORD, Jesus, and what he is doing in my heart.

Hey there, I have to do a praise report fill in. After Group two weeks ago and meeting that amazing Lady Mary Jane (it was the first week of Vintage Jesus) Veronica ran into her the next week again at wildflower and said hi, then today, Ken and I went to lunch at Praise Bakery over in Litchfield and Guess who just happen to be there with her husband… you guessed it, Mary Jane and her husband and one of there children. We had an hour and a half long lunch w/ them. Talking about God and group and all sorts of stuff. I think Peter may start coming to group w/ ken and we are still hoping that Mary Jane to come. P.S. I told Peter of all the people at church praying for him and he said to thank everyone. So thank on be half of Peter and please keep praying he has an appointment on the 12th, for the next step of the process.

Hey everybody. I just wanted to share a little bit about how my group went tonight. For anybody who has been to that park at thunderbird and the 101, you know that there is a big man made lake there. Well, somebody's skateboard from my group ended up at the bottom of that lake because they slipped on the way to our meeting place. We took a few seconds to pray about it, and called the park ranger to get a net. She said chances are slim because in most places the lake is 12 feet deep. After a few minutes of fishing for it, we got it out. Even though it was only retrieving a $140 skateboard from the bottom of a lake, it still showed the power of prayer to find it by chance in the murky algae filled waters. I love how God is good and even cares about the little things!

Group as always is so great. I am so glad that God is snapping us back into having a better perspective on what's really important. We shared in group our frustrations of daily life and in doing that we began realizing the reaction to trials is what is important. From some stranger being rude to us on the street to co-workers not helping out, God uses us in those times by they way we react. By not reacting in a "normal" (worldy justified) way but in the way that Jesus reacted to the things around him, we can show people exactly who our KING is. Thank you Lord for the patience you show us every minute of every day and please remind us to serve you in everything that we do. In good times and bad, through little frustrations and great sorrows. Thank you for bringing us through those times that lead us to solid food!

Group was great tonight and we had a new girl there that we have been praying for to come which was so awesome. She said she will be back too which is good :) Digging into the prophecy of the Old Testament and seeing how it reveals Jesus the whole way through was amazing and really eye opening for all of us. Getting that revelation of just how incredible God's word is, how perfect and true every piece of scripture is makes reading the bible a whole new experience. For a few of the ladies there it was the first time they really grasped how every part of scripture flows together perfectly as the inspired word of God and that it must be understood as a whole. It's really been a blessing going through this series and the depth of discussion that has come out of it is so exciting! Can't wait to see what the Holy Spirit is going to teach us next week.

I love the prophecies of Jesus and the fulfillment. I love what it reveals. Amazing!

Group was awesome last night and through God's grace it is growing. Developing a deeper relatinship with God through Jesus has opened my eyes wider. We discovered that prophecy in the bible has been completed and still there are prophecies that have yet to be fulfilled. Knowing that for thousands of years, Jesus was prophecied and rejected is heartbreaking. That the people who knew the prohecies of God didn't really believe them or misunderstood them. The challenge to the guys in my group was why do we believe what we believe? The pharisees and saduccees knew Scripture but yet they failed in believing that the Messiah was with them…

I love this! He is snapping us back… Jesus is the focus… amen.

It was just Burgundy and I for group last night, but it was still really good. We had great revelations, conversation, and a few tears about the fullfillment of Jesus. This season is blowing me away and I'm so blessed to have this foundation and knowledge of Jesus. I too, was heart broken by the rejections of Jesus Christ. It so obvious and evident to me… I truly want to understand all there is to know of Jesus so that I can clearly talk to others about Him and let them also see how obvious and evident His purpose was. Love this stuff!

Group last night (regardless of the number of ladies) was so SICK and I never say that word in regards to something being amazing. EVERYONE at LCC is getting completely tore up by this series and it is bringing an entirely different kind of unity that should be the basis of unity in the church in the first place. JESUS CHRIST unites us and the deeper we go, the deeper we are connected to him and one another.
I am beyond electrified by the basics of Jesus Christ, and when I say basic I am not in any way trying to diminish the intensity and potency of the cross or all the Jesus did and does… It’s just that the basics aren’t as basic as I thought. The whole Bible revolves around Jesus, my world is rocked, my perspective is clearer and brighter, I feel more connected to LCC and more connected to my group and alive in Jesus.
