Dude, this weekend was incredible! Everybody who spoke was a blessing to listen to and I am so blessed to have been able to attend and drum for Anthropology 2009. I'm not a fan of saying 'I was rocked' or god 'Punched me in the face…junk…tum'- or anything like that but truly God's hand was stretched out over my mind and my eyes were opened to see things in such a way- it was refreshing. Definitely a rousing of hope, strength, and encouragement within my heart. Pastor Aaron, My brother Dave, Pastor Chad, Dr. Hanner, Brett, and Ryan all played as instruments of divine use that poured so much into my growing heart. I am excited for the church leadership at LCC- it's growth and uprising strength, and also it's heart to be in accord with God's very structure for leadership. Men are rising up and are falling back into the Lord's will… Yesss…

No doubt Jonathan it was incredible, painful, exhilarating, nauseous and relieving. I cannot think if a better place for men to become better men, men getting back to the image of God. I was so excited to be a part of this and my only 'complaint' is that I was not able to take part in all the sessions. I know we will kick them out soon online but there is nothing like being there when the Spirit is moving. I learned that being a man is only harder when you measure it by the standards of the world because with God all things are possible. I really got my private parts cut away at (had to be there).

What a good week/weekend. Anthropology 2009 was awesome, dr. Hanner was phenomenal on saturday night and sunday morning. it was awesome, plus vintage Jesus this week is so applicable and it has started changing my life already. I am super excited for group tomorrow night!!

Group truly blew me away! Before we even dug into Vintage Jesus one of our new ladies told us her story…there were many tears as we cried with this lady and times where i was straight up angry at the injustices that she has been through. But one thing that stuck out to me after we studied Jesus 3 roles that he fulfilled was that it was so evident in this ladies story that Jesus truly came as all 3 roles and I'm so amazed at our Prophet, Priest and King! And I'm excited to see what the Lord teaches all of us about it even more as we share next week what he reveals to us where our deficiency in our knowledge of any of these roles may be.

Group was fantastic! Convicted, encouraged, and excited, I think sums up group last night. Seeing Jesus' fulfillment as Prophet, Priest, and King, was simply mind-blowing. I encouraged the ladies to ask the Lord to really search their hearts and see why we are lacking in understanding Jesus' Priestly role. I think this is where we all fell short. HUMBLY serving! ouch! To know that our Jesus served to death and continues in his service to us daily, without question, just serves.

Group last night was pretty good!! I spent some time in prayer prior to have something to say to each one about where they are at, what they lacked in their perception of Jesus as far as prophet, priest, king, and then a few things that they could work on. When it came time for the one on ones, everything I prayed about and wrote down was dead on for each one of them. That wasn't them agreeing with what I said, I asked them before I started speaking and they said what I wrote down for each one. It was an awesome demonstration in my life of abiding with the Holy Spirit and hearing from God.

Group was amazing last night! Understanding Jesus as Prophet, Priest & King brought a lot of clarity to our thinking of the roles that Christ plays in our life as well as convicting us of wrong thinking we have had. It was so interesting to see how the ladies thought of Jesus in relation to those three roles and how accurately that determines your response to Him in your life. It was really a great night of God revealing His Truth to us in new ways and I loved it!

Group went well. I love how God will bring up other issues through the material. Brett did a great job in leading us through all the information. I thing the ending was good how we walked through how it is important to be balanced to have Jesus in our lives as King, Priest, and prophet. As well as how it would lack if Jesus would be if one of those was lacking.

  9. Devon says

Wired last night kind of blew me away… we had four young ladies come with a heart to know more of who Jesus was. In teaching about Jesus as prophet, king, and priest I was really reminded of times in my own life that He has shown up and exposed himself as all three of these. This truth really is revolutionary and vital to our view of jesus' place in our lives. I loved watching the girls dig deeper into who he is, why he came, and the ways he desires to work in their lives.
