I thought our group this week was fantastic. We talked specifically about what in our lives we've not let be transformed. Had great feedback and dialogue with the guys, very valuable I think. Great sermon, great service. We have some good moms and babies in our church.

We had a "fun night" at group and it was so needed. We went to Applebees and played Loaded Questions. Great time of fellowship with the ladies. The sermon from Sunday was amazing! Its so easy to swing back and forth between grace from God & the transforming new life and what that takes. When its supposed be because of his unlimited grace and mercy and His great love for us that causes us to want to submit and let the Spirit make us imitators of Christ. Good word Pastor.

Great group this week, really challenged us on living as new creations and walking in our new identity in every area of our lives. Stole Kyle's question about what areas we aren't letting God transform and a lot of good conviction came from that. All of us seemed to feel we were falling really short of Eph. 5:4 "Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes—these are not for you." We immediately wanted to dissect that scripture and make it mean something that fits us instead of making our talk fit Him & His example. Still trying to search that one out honestly and look for the balance of not being coarse or foolish in our joking but not being a stick in the mud either. I love how God wants to transform EVERY part of who we are, especially our tongue. Jesus, let us be imitators of You and You alone!
