I have to fight really hard to make the "everyday life" the measure of my success spiritually. My pride often does not allow me to make it about serving my wife, kids, job, ect. It is easier to get a locker room mentality about spiritual success (mine is bigger then yours) then to let Christ be reflected in the everyday.

Aaron, this message was so convicting and I have been thinking through it all week. It has really challenged me to have a new perspective about my day to day life. Group was really good and the message definitely impacted the ladies too. We all agreed that it's so much harder to live your life for Christ in the little things rather than gearing up for big "spiritual moments" and focusing on them rather than simple obediance in the mundane. Great discussion came out of it and really made us all take a closer look at our obediance and serventhood to Christ in the "small" things.
